As an Android handheld device, the MANGMI AIR X features a minimalist design. The unit varies in 3 color options: white, retro GB, and black. Its shell is made of a skin-friendly material, and the trigger and directional buttons feature a striking orange color scheme, giving it a lively feel. In terms of dimensions, the MANGMI AIR X measures 203.47 x 87.39 x 16.80mm, and the weight is 273g. The device features a symmetrical ergonomic design, with balanced weight distribution when held in both hands, and rounded sides that fit comfortably in the hand. The overall grip is quite comfortable.
Regarding the button layout, the overall layout is somewhat similar to the Nintendo Switch (with some differences in the joystick layout). The D-pad/ABXY buttons are made of conductive rubber. Both the joysticks and triggers use Hall effect sensors. The joysticks support downward pressure, and the joystick caps are removable and replaceable. The joysticks feature 67 million color RGB lighting effects, providing a certain immersive experience during gameplay. Players can also configure RGB lighting modes (constant light, breathing, and rainbow) in the system settings.
Let's take a closer look at the details. The top of the device integrates the power button and volume buttons, with the active cooling fan vent on the far left. The bottom features a TF card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, and dual speakers. The back of the device is simple, with the manufacturer's logo on one side and air intake vents on the other.
Finally, the packaging and accessories are minimalist. The MANGMI AIR X's box displays the product logo on the front and various product information at the bottom. Accessories include the device itself, a user manual, a USB-A-to-USB-C charging cable, and a screen protector.
