There are 2 different power supply options.


Option 1: Battery
As long as the battery is inserted and the battery has power, the red light will stay on (The area in the upper right corner) . The red light is a sign that the battery has power. If the power in the battery runs out, the red light will not light up. When the game console is not in use, it is recommended to take out the battery so that the red light will not turn on.
In terms of user experience, this is indeed not humane enough. We are studying whether there is a solution to improve and upgrade this aspect in future.

Option 2: Plug in

Without the battery installed, the red light will not light up under any circumstances. You can play while charging.



WARM TIPS: 

Remember to unplug the power brick after fully charged, had better not play it when the device is being plugged into the mains as it may damage the battery and shorten the battery life.
